Mods and Modpacks

Minecraft has a very robust community centered around modding, with multiple modloaders and near complete control over what we can do with the game.
From a server owner's perspective, you can use mods to moderate your Vanilla server in the form of plugins, or host a modpack that your players will also have to install.
