Connecting to SCUM Servers

Connecting to a SCUM server is a simple process, start by either getting the IP from the server owner or by getting it from the GCP if you're the server owner.

Getting the IP

You can get the IP from the GCP by following the steps on this article.

Getting the Query Port

To connect, SCUM requires you to use the Query Port. You can locate the Query Port under Configuration > Startup Parameters > [ADMIN] Query Port. It is generally the Game Port + 2 (for example a 14000 game port would have a 14002 query port).

Connecting

Using the IP and Query Port from the section above or the server owner, you can follow these steps to connect.

Please note that you are required to directly connect to the IP. The server list is not stable and is not a reliable method to use for connecting to the server.

1. Open the game.
2. Click the "Multi Play" button in the menu.
3. In the Connect to IP field, input the Server IP and Query port in IP:PORT format.
4. Click Connect.
