Connecting to Mordhau Servers

Connecting to a Mordhau server is a simple process, start by either getting the IP from the server owner or by getting it from the GCP if you're the server owner.

Getting the IP

You can get the IP from the GCP by following the steps on this article.

Open the In-Game Console

The recommended method for connecting to the server is to use the in-game console, accessible by pressing tilde (~) on your keyboard. Once open, use the open <IP:PORT> command to connect to the server, replacing <IP:PORT> with your server's IP address and port (for example, 127.0.0.1:7777) Press enter and you will connect to the server.

Use the Steam Game Servers View

Another method is to use the Steam Game Servers view, which is accessible in the Steam client, under View > Game Servers. You can then add the same IP:PORT there to mark it as a favorite, which will allow it to appear in your in-game server list.

Using the IP and Query Port from the section above or the server owner, you can follow these steps to connect.

Please note that you are recommended to directly connect to the IP. Searching for your server name in the server list is not stable and is not a reliable method to use for connecting to the server.
