Connecting to 7 Days To Die Servers

Connecting to a 7 Days to Die server is a simple process, start by either getting the IP from the server owner or by getting it from the GCP if you're the server owner.

Getting the IP

You can get the IP from the GCP by following the steps on this article.

Connecting

Using the IP from the section above or the server owner, you can follow these steps to connect.

Option 1 (Recommended): Connect to IP In-Game

1. Open the game.
2. In the menu, click "Join A Game"
3. At the bottom, click "Connect to IP"
4. In the popup, insert your Server's IP Address and Port into their respective fields.
5. If your server has a password set, you will be prompted to provide the password.
6. You'll then be connected to the server!

Option 2: Connect through Steam Client

1. Open the Steam client.
2. In the top bar, select View > Game Servers.
3. Click the + button in the bottom right to add the server to your favorite servers.
4. In the Server Address section, paste your server's IP:PORT. If you set a password, you will need to enter that in the Password field.
5. After the server has been added, you'll see it in the server list.
6. Click the server, then select Join Game.
